Are you a partner of a contemporary veteran? We need your help!
Funded by The Repat Foundation – The Road Home, Flinders University is conducting research with partners of contemporary veterans who have Post-Traumatic Stress (PTS). Very little is known about how spouses/partners experience daily life while providing support to a loved one who has been affected by trauma that has occurred as result of their work.
The aim is to better understand your needs as a partner, what helps or gets in the way of your ability to support your veteran, what you need to maintain your own mental health and wellbeing and what resources or programmes you find helpful.
We are now looking for volunteers to be involved in this study. It would involve an interview to explore your views on how you manage and experience daily life living with a contemporary veteran with Post-Traumatic Stress. All answers and personal details will be confidential throughout the study.
If you would like more information or want to be involved, please contact Dr Elaine Waddell at firstname.lastname@example.org or Professor Sharon Lawn at Sharon.email@example.com or by phone 0459 098 772.
